A small series of smart gestures transformed the former corporate apartment into a welcoming living space. The focal point of the main living space is two oversized sliding doors, hung on exposed stainless steel industrial hardware. The doors, when open, frame a custom designed bed, with an integrated headboard and side tables. The simplicity of the renovation effectively produced a warm and inviting apartment while maintaining an attractive modern aesthetic.

"He walked through the gardens; they were too confined for him; he hastened out into the fields, and they were too free. He felt drawn back to the house, and found himself beneath Ottilie's windows."
