Pfeiffer Residence

The clients for this private residential renovation expressed a dramatic duality. He wanted a new house while she wanted to renovate an old townhouse. A bi-partied solution led to a varied experiential living situation. The west side townhouse features exposed steel beams while the east side is a suburban split level situated perpendicular to the townhouse. The resulting illusion is of a single house experienced simultaneously from front and side.
